Privacy notice

How Dental Atlas World handles the information you choose to share.

You can browse clinic names, read guides, and compare full public profiles without creating a patient account.

Effective date:

Shortlists and inquiry preparation stay in your browser

Your shortlist is saved in your browser's local storage. Questions passed from the decision brief to the inquiry builder use temporary browser session storage and are removed after the inquiry builder reads them. Atlas does not receive the prepared message when you copy it or open a clinic-owned contact route.

You can clear a shortlist on the shortlist page or remove it by clearing this site's browser storage. Clearing browser data on one device does not affect another device.

Information submitted through a form

A correction report or clinic request can include the clinic or profile name, your name, email address, optional phone number, your relationship to the clinic when relevant, the request details, and the consent choices shown beside the form. The submission is saved so a person can review and respond to that specific request. It does not change a public profile automatically.

A clinic owner can separately request a Project Gateway Growth Review. That commercial request uses its own consent and may be routed to the Project Gateway contact system. Declining it does not affect an Atlas profile.

Affiliate referrals and contributor records

An Atlas link shared by an affiliate can include an affiliate code and campaign label. Atlas stores a random browser identifier and a one-session deduplication marker so the same visit is not counted repeatedly. The referral event contains the affiliate code, Atlas destination, campaign labels when present, and event time. It does not contain a patient name, email address, health information, or the content of a clinic inquiry.

Affiliate signup, area requests, and clinic submissions contain the identity and clinic-level information shown on those forms. They are routed to the Project Gateway contact system for sourcing operations. After a new signup is confirmed, Atlas may set a secure, HttpOnly sourcing cookie so that browser can submit areas and clinics without exposing a reusable access token to page scripts. That limited cookie cannot open private profile, CRM, payout, or attribution details. Bank, card, wallet, and payout-account details are not collected in the affiliate portal. Affiliate attribution never changes a clinic ranking, verification decision, or publication status.

Patient contact help

When Atlas offers help establishing a clinic contact route, the form asks for your name, email address, selected clinic, and specific consent for that follow-up. Those limited fields may be routed to the Project Gateway contact system so the team can respond. Your prepared questions, shortlist, and comparison are not included, and Atlas does not automatically send a message to the clinic.

Do not submit health information

Atlas forms and inquiry tools are not a patient portal. Do not enter a patient name, symptoms, diagnosis, medical or dental records, images, prescriptions, medication details, or treatment instructions. Share health information only through a secure route agreed with the clinic or treating professional.

Earlier access requests

If you previously joined an Atlas early-access list, the submitted name, email address, phone number, patient or clinic selection, and email consent were used to administer that request and the updates described at sign-up. An early-access request did not create a clinic inquiry or authorize unrelated calls, text messages, or WhatsApp messages.

Direct clinic contact and external links

When you open a clinic website, email address, or phone route, you leave Atlas and deal directly with that clinic or service. Their privacy practices apply to the information you send there. Atlas does not control an external site simply because a profile links to it.

Retention and privacy requests

Browser-stored shortlist data remains until you remove it or clear site data. Submitted records are retained according to the purpose of the request and any security, correction-history, or legal recordkeeping needs that apply. A fixed period is not promised for every request type.

To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information tied to your email address, use the existing correction route. Enter "Dental Atlas World privacy request" as the profile name and describe the request without including health information. The form provides a reference after submission. Requests may require identity confirmation and are reviewed against applicable recordkeeping needs.
